On a normal day we went in the car to drive to San Rafael to see elephant seals and whales. It was a 1hour and 44minutes to drive to San Rafael. We saw cows on the road. On the way we we’re hungry for lunch, so we drove to point Reyes to eat lunch. We went inside the market and bought something to eat for lunch. I ate a sandwich for lunch. After that we went back in the car and drove to Drake’s beach. At Drake’s beach we saw two elephant seals on the beach. We all took pictures of them.

Then we got the tickets for the shuttle to chimney Rock and the lighthouse.

Then went in the shuttle and drove to the lighthouse. On the drive we saw cows, coyotes and deers. When we reached the lighthouse, we walked on a road until we saw 300 steps to the lighthouse.

So we all walked down all the steps and reached the lighthouse. At the lighthouse we saw 0 whales. We kept looking but found 0 whales still. So we climbed back the 300 stairs and waited for the bus to come.

When it came we got inside it and drove to chimney Rock. At chimney Rock we got to see 💯 seals on the Sandy Beach. One was just born and the seals made a noise like this. Glug glug.

After that we went back in the bus and went back to where our car was. Then we went in the car and drove home.

On a cloudy day my family and I went to Santa Cruz, to see Monarch butterflies and see other fun stuff to do. It all started when we drove to Santa Cruz and parked in a parking lot full of cars. Then we went out side and saw the view of the ocean. After that we went back to the car and drove to another parking lot and parked there. We got out of the car and walked on the road until we reached a hike. We walked on the hike until I saw a map. The hikes name was Monarch trail. On the map all of us saw that we had to walk a little further to reach the Monarch butterflies visitor center. My dad looked and learned cool stuff about butterflies. After that went on a trail. We walked on the trail until we reached the place where the butterflies live. But there were no butterflies there. So we went back to the car, got in and drove to the lighthouse and we also parked there. At the lighthouse we saw people surfing. They were insane. Then we walked on a trail and got to see all the butterflies.

 

After that we all drove to see the animals of the sea. We saw anemones and moving 🐚s.

 

After that we walked back to the car and drove home. The end.

On a sunny morning my mom and my dad planned on going to Fremont older open space preserve. So at 10:50am my dad drove to Safeway and got bagels, bread, nuts,  fruits, cream cheese and peanuts for the hike. After that we all went back in the car and drove to the open space preserve. The parking lot was very small. But luckily we found a parking spot. After that we started hiking on the Cora older trail. We hiked on the trail for 0.4 miles, until we reached Hayfield Trail. We went hiking on west Hayfield trail until we reached hunters point. At the point we saw the whole satatoga city and the ocean. Then we walked on east Hayfield trail until we reached Toyon trail. Then we walked on Toyon trail to Coyote ridge trail. Then we walked on that trail to maises peak.

At the we saw more things than hunters point. At the peak we ate lunch. I ate bagels and a bread. After that we walked the same way back as we came. When we reached the parking lot, my dad drove us all home. the end
