Robotics Dinogrammers

                                                                                                     Mission #1

                                                                                                                              Stargazing Seeker

In this easy mission we had to travel by the stars because our compass was broken. For the stars we added tape in a X shape in where each star should be. We also added two Xs on the 2/4 star. At the start of our program we made Dash flash six times with his sensors in red. We got 35 whole points in total for this mission.

                                                                                                     Mission #2

                                                                                                                              Waterlogged Ruins

We had to use a craft stick to explore all of the Ruins without touching any of the Coral Reefs. We used plastic to keep on the cup to make the Coral Reef and Tahaan made eight poisonous stinging jellyfish out of paper to keep in the Coral Reef. For the theme related Chorus we told google to play yellow submarine by the Beatles. when it did that we recorded it. To touch the ruins we had to look down so the craft stick could touch the Ruins that we made. We got a high total of 80 points in total.

                                                                                                     Mission #3

                                                                                                                          Currents Conundrum

In this mission we had to gather all the artifacts following the currents. Also not to the touch the Coral Reef.  First Vishva made an attachment to keep all the cups to Dash by adding to cardboard pieces so that the Ruin (cups) could not escape from the robot. Instead of picking up all four cups and go back home we decided to do 2 cups first. We also did that because the cardboard was not long enough to hold four cups in a row. To decorate Dash as a submarine Vishva added yellow Lego blocks on the top of Dash’s head to make him look like a realistic submarine. For our presentation we had to talk about what our artifact was about. In total we got an amount of 85 points in this mission

                                                                                                     Mission #4

                                                                                                                                 Reverse Rescue

In this really flabbergasting mission in where we had to add vents to our prewritten program to make it go to the finish line. First we added if sense turn___ on the tablet so dash could turn to make it to the finish line without doing any thing to our program. To do It with 8 or more vents we kept the vents all in the middle of our 4 vents. In this mission we earned a high total of 120 points!

                                                                                                       Mission#5

                                                                                                                             Deep Blue Discovery

We had to move all the trap walls and to move dash to trap the creature (dot) from all sides. for the attachment we used the same attachment that Vishva made in the Mission #3 Currents Conundrum. First we moved the trap in the middle to the back of the creature. Then we did the one on the left to D 5 and the on on the right to B 5. Since 3 sides were covered and we needed one more side to be covered, we kept Dash in C 4. For the poster or infomercial -style videos Liam made a poster. In this Mission we got a total of 80 points.

Crayfish and how they adapt

Introduction

If you go near a river and you see something swimming in the water it could be a fish, lizard and a rock but no, these are actually crayfish. These ̈Crayfish ̈ might sound creepy but actually they are not actually that scary with really sharp pincers on their legs and even bigger pincers on their head. When you are nearby a crayfish be careful to not to let the crayfish pince you! If you want to learn more about these mysterious creatures this article is a real good choice for you. Now let’s stop with this talking and get started on this Crayfish article

Protection

Let’s start with how Crayfish protect themselves if predators are attacking them. For example the carapace on the back of their body has a really rough shells with bumps. If I have to rate how hard those bumps in how hard they are from 0- 100 I would say about 82% . Also if the carapace doesn’t help then they have pincers for defence or
even attack. If a threat is coming they raise their pincers up high and try to scare away the predators. If the predator doesn’t care the fight begins. Mostly all of their predators come out during the day but this crayfish avoids all that by going out at night. Now let’s move onto our next subtopic.

Behavior

Now that I told you about protection I should tell you some things that they do if they’re are scared or if a threat is trying to attack them. It’s also like if you try to touch these strange creatures they will pull their body back inside their carapace and then in a blink of an eye they will go really fast backwards. Just like I said in protection these
Crayfish go out at night and stay in at the day and also they use pincers to defend or to attack. Now let us go to baby world

Offspring

Finally we get on to the part everyone in the whole world wants to know about Crayfish Offspring! One thing about offspring is that these babies start of with an egg and a female Crayfish has about 100+babies at one time. Also with the babies a female Crayfish can’t shoot back as fast as they can so that really destroys how they couldprotect themselves. Now let’s get to the main part of this section. Just after when they are after eggs they stay in their mother’s tail and in about 2 weeks they take their first steps! If the Crayfish baby is startled they will run quickly back to theirs mother’s tail. At about 4-6 weeks old they can go and explore the ̈the real world ̈. Before they are free
they are almost as small as an L.

Conclusion

Now that you know a lot about these mysterious creatures so called Crayfish you can maybe the next time you go near a river or a creek you might actually find a Crayfish so now that you know about this article what are you going to do. Also these antennas have really good sensors, so if you kept your hand on top of the Crayfish the antennas will follow your hand unless you keep it out of reach. Before you go most interesting is that they also have an Exoskeleton
